Heckscher Youth Program Directors

Executive Director Louis Raffone

Louis founded the Heckscher Youth Program in 1995. For his dedication to the County youth he received a Proclamation from Suffolk County Legislator Steve Levy. He has also received an award from the Kiwanis Club and the Jenkins Award given by the Connetquot Elementary School PTA.

Louis was a member of the Suffolk County Youth Board for 3 years, as a representative for Legislature Joseph Rizzo and also a School Board Trustee for the East Islip School District. He is presently the chairperson for all the Suffolk County Beach Programs, and is part of the School Business Partership Program.

A retired businessman, Louis owned his own general contracting business for twenty seven years. He is also the President and Member of the Suffolk County Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, Inc.
