Heckscher Youth Program

Heckscher Youth Group On the BeachThe Heckscher Youth Program is a non-profit organization. Its goal and purpose is to reach teens in need of special guidance and direction. This youth program provides them with a place to meet and have fun with peers while developing a sense of belonging to a worthwhile group. My name is Lou Raffone and I am the director of the Heckscher Youth Program at Heckscher State Park.

The Heckscher Youth Program is run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7pm - 11pm in the months of July and August at Heckscher State Park - Field 8. The age group of the teens allowed to participate in the program is 12 to 17. It is free for the teens to participate in the program. Click here to view our list of activities and special events.
